Where did the time go?  I know I took a short break from creativity (actually no creativity was flowing for a while)....but I am back now.....A year later. Wow!

I have been thinking about starting a website for a while and finally did it.  It should be fully up and running within a few days.  Creativity is starting to flow again and I have tons of idea's I want to try out.  So excited.

Kids head back to school in a couple weeks.  The summer flew by.  My oldest is heading to High School.  I still cannot believe it. It was just yesterday she was saying her first words.

It's Monday....school is winding down, and it feels like it.  3 more weeks......the boys have given up on good study habits, I am trying to harrass them back into them, but its not always in me.

Bunnies are growing fast.  This weekend we all held them for the first time..  Prior to this, only Isabel was holding them and checking on them.  Mommy and Daddy bunnies are soo good.  Mom checks on her babies every time we go in there, just to make sure we are behaving.  Dad is so good with them.  We brought them out of their nest and let them hang out in the main pen.....they still don't have the hopping thing down, but had a great time chasing their parents around.  It's amazing how a little thing of baby bunnies get your focus away from the crap going on in your life and look at things with rose colored glasses again!

I cannot believe it is June 2011.  I am still writing 2010 on my checks.....thank god I don't write that many checks. I am trying to keep up, but it's a busy few months....lots of changes going on...but we are still hanging in there and moving forward.  The house is finally up for sale, but so far, no takers.  I finally have a clean house, after packing alot and never knowing when a showing will occur.  Keep your fingers crossed that the house is sold soon.  That would help alot.

We have 4 new additions to our family......as yet unnamed.  We got a boyfriend for our bunny Toola, and they are best friends in addition to proud  parents.  The babies are about 1 week old and growing fast.  They are so beautiful. Fitch(Dad) is a Lionhead and Toola is supposedly a Dutch/Lionhead mix. I cannot wait to see what these little cuties look like.

I think I am going to find it hard to give them away to new homes. Maybe I should keep them??!!  Do you think 6 bunnies are too much?  Well it may be if one Mom, in one year can have 800 babies,grandbabies,great grandbabies....Our yard isn't big enough!

It's Finally SPRING!

Wow, I feel like we have been waiting forever......everytime its starts to get warm...another cold front comes thru.  Yesterday it was close to 80...today 50's and rain is a coming!  But I do love rain.

Been busy doing a little of everything around here.  Trying to get and keep the house in order, clean and ready to put on the market.  Would love to continue to work in silver, but with the prices only going up, and my silver inventory going down, I have been focusing on different mediums.  I have gotten back into Polymer clay....Love Love Love making cane.....I made around 100 Polymer Clay pinwheel stick pins for a fundraiser at the school. 

I was at the barn the other day, adopting a new bunny I couldn't resist, and saw a stack of empty horse feed bags.  I think I was more excited about the bags than the bunny.  So.......I took them home, washed them up and .......................

And we can't forget our new baby!

Isabel will be selling the bags to raise funds for her chicken!  Yes, she has her own chicken now, but it will reside at the barn!

Fun and Freezing February

I can't believe it's February 2011... Well, more like I can't believe its 2011.....sometimes I think I am stuck in the 80's......well, somewhat stuck...I sure hope my clothes and hairstyle has changed a bit since then.

Life has been busy with lots and lots of SNOW!  Which I love, cause' if you live in the Northeast in the winter, at least let their be snow to go along with the snow.  Also busy with lots of SICKNESS...the whole household went thru a bought with a virus....then my youngest has had it reoccuring....he is currently camped out on the couch, watching tv and yelling for me every few minutes.  I have also been busy CREATING and updating my shop.......I thought I would share some items I have recently posted.........this isn't everything new....just some of my favorites.  Please go check out the rest at http://www.etsy.com/shop/Meribella

What a Beautiful Monday!

I usually hate Mondays, after coming off the weekend of a loose schedule, you have to get right back on the horse and start again.....I had a good weekend.  I was able to try some ideas out.

First up....I needed a new pair of earrings and wanted to use some dichoric gems that I had.  No two gems ever seem alike, and of all the dichroic glass I had...only two somewhat matched...here is the outcome...

Then.....my daughter LOVES LOVES LOVES horses and everything involved with them, so I tried to make her a horse necklace.  It needs fine tuning....but this is the first try....

Then of course.....my whole motivation for my art is Mommy Jewelry.....a tweeked my little people a little and this is my newest MOM Jewelry I made for myself...

So, since I played all weekend..its housekeeping day and off to finish a beef stew for dinner.  Happy Monday to all and to all a good Week!

It's Friday, once again.  The weeks seem to fly by....at least we are flying toward summer. 

I just posted some new items to etsy.  More Little People sculptures.  I love creating these little guys.  I have so many more idea's I want to try.  I tried my hand at the mainstream silver jewelry, i.e bezel setting, beads, ect.  But it is not for me.  I love making these little people that represent something you truly love in your life.

There are so many great artisians in New Jersey, so I can't pick just one.  This week, I am focusing on what my daughter loves best!!!  She loves to ride horses, and if had her choice would live at the barn.
